Took the long way home from my brother’s house and stopped at a greenhouse that would make Denis Villeneuve proud, a long-lost corner store, and a few lit up signs.

January brought some of the first snow of the year, Lights On, quiet drives, and wintry sights around town.
Managed to catch the Northern Lights outside of Sebringville.
Bright enough to see with the naked eye, late enough at night that a police officer stopped to see what I was doing standing on a gravel road at 11:30.

May was a busy month, but not so busy I couldn’t go check out a good boomer car show, poke around the airport, and get my steel frame Raleigh tuned up for some night rides.

Last Friday night I dusted off my panning skills for a night of high speed pre-season testing at Delaware Speedway!
This was my first time shooting cars at any kind of serious speed and definitely my first time in the infield at Delaware. It was a fantastic experience, and I got some great tips from the track photographer to boot. Looking forward to the next time I can drop that shutter speed under the Friday night lights!
