Downtown Detroit

Got a few hours to wander around downtown Detroit on a Saturday night while my wife and a few friends went to a concert.

Ended up at the oldest bar in the city, checked out the Renaissance Centre, and visited a late-night record shop.

Buffalo Weekend

Went to Buffalo, New York with my wife for a weekend away. We saw a stand-up show, stayed at a hotel that had a parrot in the lobby, and did some exploring around Allentown and downtown.

Eastern Michigan Railway Day

Spent a chilly day chasing Pere Marquette 1225 around Eastern Michigan with a friend to kick off winter. After that, we visited a Christmas festival in the town of Ashley, a railway museum, and stopped by a pioneer village with a narrow-gauge railway.
