For the first time in my years of going to the Thunder Over Michigan airshow I stayed in Ypsilanti instead of driving home after the show. Turns out it’s a great little town with some historic buildings and a lot of character.











For the first time in my years of going to the Thunder Over Michigan airshow I stayed in Ypsilanti instead of driving home after the show. Turns out it’s a great little town with some historic buildings and a lot of character.
As the school year wrapped up I caught the Erie Drive-In’s lights on after dark and drove to Paris with my camera in the car.
On the 60th anniversary of its arrival, the Avro Lancaster bomber owned and flown by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum returned to the Goderich Airport.
I went on the Saturday which turned out to be the less busy of the two days. It was a great chance to see the Lancaster up close, and I figured out the vibration reduction wasn’t working on my telephoto.
Late winter and spring flew by with a few train shots, some foggy nights, walks around Stratford, and a total solar eclipse
