Decided to head up to the Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Preserve with a buddy for the August new moon.
We ended up getting one mostly clear night, camped on crown land, and visited the nearby towns of Bala, Gravenhurst, and Bracebridge.
Looking forward to potentially going back when the weather’s cooler for a clearer night.
