Took a drive on the first sunny day of the year to the covered bridge in West Montrose and the town of Elora.
Elora is a place I’ve only passed through, and plan on spending more time there this year to really check it out properly!

This past weekend I finally made it out to a Kitchener Waterloo Rally Club event as they ran the Northern Lights navigational rally east of Cambridge around Puslinch.
It was my first time seeing an event like this in action, and the checkpoints and pace set by the drivers meant even going to every other checkpoint was a race against the clock!
While this was the club’s last event for the 2021 season, I’m looking forward to adding some KWRC events to my calendar!

Drove out to Ontario’s only covered bridge just north of Waterloo.
Was a good opportunity to play around with panoramas, since I generally like how a panorama of 50mm photos looks versus a single wider shot.
Next plan is to revisit the bridge at night!

On a couple of the warm days last week I spent the afternoon on a trail outside of St. Jacob’s after popping by Victoria Park.
I’d done the trail previously in the winter, and it was great to see the transition to spring.
